1. Tattershall Lakes Waterpark

Ok, now this is my ultimate idea of fun! An outdoor floating inflatable course made up of climbing frames, trampolines ,monkey bars, blast bags and slides.

Located on-site so no extra travel time required, bonus! Suitable for age 5 and above with specific family sessions available .

This is the perfect family-friendly activity you’ll be sure to make fabulous memories doing.

2. Tattershall Castle

A perfect day out for the family whilst staying at Tattershall Lakes Country Park.

Fresh air and lovely routes to walk ,taking in nature and great views of the Castle. The castle itself is also available to roam, with 149 steps in total to climb to the top!

Dogs are welcome within the grounds so if you’ve brought your fury friend on holiday with you, this is a perfect day out to get them involved in the fun!

Just a 5 minute drive from the park, a great place for a picnic with the family.

3. Tattershall Farm Park

What a great day out for all ages! There’s something for everyone at this lovely local farm. Only an 8 minute drive away from the park.

There is so much to do, from petting and feeding animals to enjoying bird flying shows, your guaranteed a very fun, hands on experience. They also run seasonal activities which make the trip extra special if you get to visit during holiday seasons.

Super child-friendly with play areas specific for under 5’s and age 6+, sand pits, zip wires and go carts. Visiting the farm is a full day trip which you can simply never get bored of! Guaranteed to make amazing memories with the family here.

4. Battle of Britain Memorial Centre

An active RAF training centre located just 10 minutes away from Tattershall Lakes.

You’ll most likely have heard them or even seen them fly over if you’ve ever stayed in the park. It’s amazing to see the heritage of UK aviation history flying right over you!

The centre is a great, educational and exciting experience. It holds the only flying Lancaster bomber in Europe! A great day out for all those who are interested in historic aircrafts.

5. Skegness Aquarium

There is so much to do at this aquarium! If your staying at Tattershall Lakes Country Park this is a must to visit here and even better, its just a 30 minute drive away.

You have the aquarium itself, with open top tanks and sea caves with lots fascinating sea creatures. As well as this, there is so many little hands on activities for families like mini golf, soft play and so much more. What I love about this aquarium is how interactive and fun filled it is. There’s no chance of getting bored here as there really is so much to do and see all under one roof.

It really is a cool, memorable trip for both adults and children to enjoy.
